What is process production software?

Process production software tracks production made from recipes, in tanks and in batches: recipes, batches, lots, quality control, and material requirements sit on one record. PureField ERP connects that line to orders, shipments, warehouses, and stock cards. A quote accepted in CRM becomes an order. MRP works out material needs and the weekly load on production equipment.

Why process production is tracked separately

In chemicals, cleaning products, paint, or food, products are not assembled part by part; they are mixed in a tank to a recipe and come out in batches. So the questions are different: Which raw material lot went into which batch? Did the batch pass quality control? Which lot does the certificate of analysis (CoA) belong to? Which lot went to which customer? When the answers are spread across spreadsheets and separate logs, tracing a recall or a customer complaint takes hours.

What is managed?

AreaWhat is kept?
RecipeProduct recipe, raw materials, recipe rules
BatchBatch opened from the recipe, tanks and equipment used
Lot and qualityLot number, quality control result, CoA, product passport
MRPMaterial requirements from recipe and stock, production and purchase suggestions, weekly equipment capacity load
WarehouseOrders, shipments, warehouses, stock cards

From order to shipment

1. An order is entered by hand, or opens automatically from a quote accepted in CRM, based on the quote type. 2. MRP checks the recipe and warehouse stock, shows how much of each raw material is missing and suggests production and purchase orders. It compares the weekly load on production equipment with its capacity and flags overloads. 3. A batch is opened from the recipe. The tanks, equipment, and raw material lots used are written to the batch. 4. Quality control results are entered, the lot is released, and the certificate of analysis is attached to the lot. 5. The released lot is linked to the order, the shipment is planned, and warehouse stock updates.

A lot's recipe, raw material lots, quality results, and shipment appear together in its product passport. When a customer asks about a lot, you trace it back from one screen.

For stock and shipping only

Orders, shipments, warehouses, and stock cards work without the production side. Spare parts in a service van can be kept as their own stock location.

Evidence

Traceability
Lots, CoA, and product passports stay on one record.
Context
An accepted quote becomes an order, so the sales record stays tied to production.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have MRP?

Yes. MRP works out how much of each material you need from recipes and stock, and it shows the weekly capacity load on production equipment.

What kind of production is it built for?

Process production made from recipes, in tanks and in batches: chemicals, cleaning products, paint and food.

How does it work with our accounting software?

PureField ERP ties stock, orders, and process production to your sales and service records. You keep the general ledger and trial balance in your accounting software; if you use Logo or Paraşüt, invoices and customer accounts are matched with them.

Where do we see which tanks and equipment a batch used?

On the batch record. A batch is opened from the recipe, and the tanks, equipment, and raw material lots used are written to it. The weekly capacity load on equipment shows in MRP.
