What is an HR leave module?

Leave vs payroll
Leave software manages requests, approvals, and balances. Payroll software calculates pay, social security, and deductions. The two are often confused; in a technical service company the daily question is usually not payroll but "Who is on leave tomorrow, and who is on call this weekend?" PureField keeps leave, approvals, and on-call shifts; payroll stays in your current software or with your accountant.
How a leave request moves
1. The employee record is set up: role, contact details, and personnel documents go onto the record. The leave balance is tracked from here. 2. The employee picks the dates and submits a leave request. The remaining balance shows on the request screen. 3. The request lands with the manager for approval. Approval time is tracked for pending requests. 4. Approved days come off the balance. Each movement shows line by line in the employee's leave history.
Annual leave days are set by length of service; public holidays and weekends aren't counted, and the request screen works out the working days. You set the leave rules to match your own policy and confirm them against labour law with your own legal adviser.

Who is the on-call rota for?
Technical teams who cover calls at weekends, at night, or on holidays. The service manager assigns on-call shifts on the calendar by person and day, and the team sees who is on call. Because leave and on-call sit in one place, a shift given to someone on leave stands out.

How is annual leave entitlement calculated?
Annual leave days are calculated by length of service. The reference framework is the service tiers in Turkish Labour Law No. 4857: 14, 20 and 26 days. Every approved leave comes off the balance, and each movement shows in the employee's leave history.
Are on-call shifts included?

How is a new hire's onboarding tracked?
