What is process production software?

By: PureField Editorial TeamPublished: August 25, 2026

Process production software manages recipes, batches, lots, and quality release — unlike discrete assembly lines. PureField ERP connects that line to orders, warehouses, and stock cards. MRP sits on the same ERP surface, tied to recipes and stock. It is not a full accounting ERP that replaces SAP or Logo.

Context

Sales and field records do not break from production.

Honest scope

No live PLC read or full-ERP claim.

What MRP is and is not

MRP plans material need from recipes and on-hand stock. In PureField, MRP is part of ERP. SAP-class capacity planning (machine-hour load, finite scheduling) is not claimed; that capacity is being extended.
